Initiatives

Our initiatives involve both City-led and collaborative grassroots projects to support existing housing efforts and meet resident needs.

Community Engagement
  • Quarterly Community Workshops

Every month throughout the year, HOME Easton conducts workshops within the community at accessible locations in all of Easton's neighborhoods. These workshops are intended not only to educate on housing-related matters, but also serve to connect community members with experts in public service, and to hold open discussion that will keep City employees informed of problem areas and collaborate in finding solutions.

  • Landlord Engagement Program

This is a voluntary, online-based program specific to property owners, aspiring landlords and property managers within the City of Easton. Its aim is to enlighten individuals about their important role in our community by being proactive in engagement and maintenance, and applying ethical business practices. The program was created to be easy to understand, concise, informative and supportive for landlords in the City. By following the steps laid out in the Landlord Engagement Program, property owners are set up for success, and benefit from receiving a seal of completion from HOME Easton organization.

  • Tenant Best Practices Program

This is a voluntary, informative program created to provide existing and aspiring tenants with clarity on the application process, advice about how to exercise best practices in rental units, and their rights as tenants.

Coming Spring 2026.
